Historic & Splendid City Center Tour
(Campo Marzio)

Tour Overview

  • The tour travels through Michelangelo who designed Capitoline Hill, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia in the center of Rome, the Spanish Steps, The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and many more surprises along the way.

  • If you are new to Rome, this tour will help orient you around the city center. And if your feet complain of fatigue, the tour can be shortened.

  • The tour has a minimum duration of 2 hours.

  • Stupendous brilliance and beauty take you by surprise as you stroll into each piazza. Built upon previous ancient monuments, they are glorious examples of Renaissance and Baroque art, vibrant centers for people to gather and be entertained.

  • Serendipity is the best noun for this tour as we amble through Campo Marzio. At one of the city’s oldest cafes, a venerable Roman institution, you can treat yourself to a coffee or at another location have an aperitif accompanied with cured meats, cheeses or olives. Or sip in your whole experience with wine or a much-needed glass of water, especially treasured on a hot day!

At the end of the tour, we will show you where you can savor authentic Roman cuisine, tear into hot pizzas, or just absorb your day's experiences while sipping on Italy’s greatest export at a swank wine bar or people-watch at Campo di Fiori.
